Moore Stephens is pleased to be sponsoring the International Choir Festival of Jersey.

Moore Stephens is heavily involved in the community providing music sponsorships, university bursaries and support in a whole range of local charities and institutions.

The firm was established in Jersey in 1968, in association with a local accounting firm, to primarily service the requirements of a small number of Moore Stephens London clients located in the Island. There was a small audit facility, together with a trust and company administration presence. At that time virtually all of Moore Stephens offshore work was structured elsewhere, but as the Jersey office developed the emphasis was switched to the Island.

In November 1974 Moore Stephens Jersey split away from its original associates and Clive Barton, who was trained in the London office, was appointed as Audit Manager. Clive became a Partner in 1976 and Senior Partner in 1978. Since then the Firm has grown and developed into one of the largest trust, accounting and consultancy companies in the Island.

The firm currently has in excess of 120 partners and staff and is part of Moore Stephens International Limited, one of the world’s largest accounting and consulting networks with 630 offices in 98 countries.
